  • LicenceEdition per user

Standard and Enterprise are priced per user per month, billed annually. The edition chosen sets the per-user rate on the invoice, so moving from Standard to Enterprise changes the cost of every licensed user.

  • LicenceCreator, Explorer and Viewer roles

Each user is assigned a role. Every deployment needs at least one Creator licence, and additional users are added as Creator, Explorer or Viewer licences. The role mix therefore determines how many users are paid for, but the vendor pages checked do not publish role prices.

  • RenewalAnnual contract only

All Tableau products require an annual contract billed annually, and no monthly billing is offered. Budget for the full year rather than a month-to-month pilot.

  • Add-onTableau Cloud+ and Tableau+ Bundle

Cloud+ is priced by capacity and the Tableau+ Bundle is a bundle; both are sold only through Contact Sales. The invoice cannot be estimated from the public pricing page.
