Guests & externals

Not publishedNot published
  • StructuralUsers per plan

Standard and Business Pro are priced per user and cap at 50 users; a team larger than 50 moves to Enhanced, which is quote-only. Personal covers one user only.

  • LicencePlan tier

Moving from Standard to Business Pro adds $15 per user per month on annual billing, with the same user cap and envelope allowance per the pricing page. The features that justify the step are not described on the fetched pages, so check the feature list before paying for it.

  • MeteredEnvelope allowance

Standard and Business Pro include 100 envelopes per user per year on annual plans, and up to 10 per user per month on monthly plans; Personal includes 5 per month. Envelopes sent above the allowance are billed pay-as-you-go and the per-envelope rate is not published, so high-volume teams should model overage before choosing a plan.

  • Add-onSMS delivery

Sending envelopes with SMS delivery is an add-on charged per delivery and available only on Standard and Business Pro. The cost scales with envelope volume, so it moves the invoice for workflows with many recipients.

  • Add-onRecipient ID verification

Identity verification for recipients is charged per attempt and requires Standard or Business Pro. Each attempt is charged, so the cost grows with the number of recipients who must be verified.

  • StructuralEnhanced quote

Enhanced plans for 50+ users with custom envelope limits are not priced publicly; the cost is set in a sales conversation covering eSignature or IAM.

Docusign pricing FAQ

How much does Docusign cost?

Docusign eSignature starts at $11 per month for Personal, which covers a single user, with an annual commitment of $132. Standard is $30 per user per month and Business Pro is $45 per user per month, both on annual billing with annual commitments of $360 and $540 per user. Enhanced plans for 50+ users have no published price and are quoted by sales. The UK and French pages publish GBP and EUR prices for the same plans.

How does Docusign charge?

Plans are priced per user per month, with the headline rate on annual billing. Each paid page shows an 'Annual | Billed monthly' toggle, and the annual commitment is printed beneath the monthly rate. Standard and Business Pro can also be billed monthly, where the envelope allowance drops to 10 per user per month. Envelopes above the plan allowance are billed pay-as-you-go. Annual plans bought on Docusign.com carry a refund within 30 days of purchase; monthly plans can be cancelled without charge for the next month.

Does Docusign have a free plan?

No. The pricing pages show no free tier, and the cheapest plan, Personal at $11 per month, is paid. The page meta description says 'Try Docusign eSignature free!', but no trial terms are published on the pages reviewed.

What does Docusign cost with add-ons?

Send with SMS starts at $0.36 per delivery and Verify recipient identity starts at $2.40 per ID verification attempt, plus any applicable tax. Both need a Standard or Business Pro plan. Envelopes above the plan allowance add pay-as-you-go charges, and that rate is not published.
