  • StructuralStarter to Pro step

A 4x per-user jump. The gate is not seats but features: quoting and forecast management only exist at Pro and above.

  • StructuralAPI access gate

Web API is included outright from Core. Pro reaches it only via a $25 per user per month add-on, which is why API-heavy teams often skip Pro.

  • Add-onAgentforce for Sales

Agentforce for Sales is 'available for purchase' at Core and Advanced and included only at Max. Lead Nurture, Pipeline Management, Prospecting, Sales Signals and Call Summaries follow the same split.

  • Add-onSuccess Plans

Premier Success is included from Core up. At Pro it is a paid add-on, priced at 30% of net licence fees.

  • MeteredFlex Credits

Core includes 500K, Advanced 1M and Max 2.75M Flex Credits per org per year. Additional credits are available for purchase.

  • StructuralAnnual commitment above Starter

Only Starter Suite offers monthly billing. Pro and above are 12-month commitments, so switching cost changes the moment you cross that line.

Salesforce pricing FAQ

How much does Salesforce cost?

Sales Cloud runs from a free 2-user tier through Starter Suite at $25 per user per month, Pro Suite at $100, Core at $195, Advanced at $395 and Max at $550. Everything above Starter is billed annually.

How does Salesforce charge?

Per user per month. Editions can be mixed inside one org, so managers can sit on a higher edition than individual contributors, which is both an optimisation lever and a source of negotiation complexity.

Does Salesforce have a free plan?

Yes, a Free Suite capped at 2 user licences with basic lead and opportunity management. There is also a 30-day trial on every paid edition.

What does Salesforce cost with add-ons?

The published edition price is the floor. Agentforce for Sales starts at $125 per user per month on top of Core and Advanced and is included at Max. Sales Planning and Incentive Compensation Management are add-ons below Max, and Advanced includes Sales Programmes only. Premier Success is included from Core and costs 30% of net licence fees at Pro. Salesforce directs buyers to a sales representative for detailed add-on pricing.
