Each connection follows its own cost curve: monthly usage multiplied by a spend rate that falls as volume grows, and the rate depends on the plan. MAR counts inserts and updates, including deletes. Unchanged re-synced rows and initial syncs are not counted.

A $5 base charge applies to each connection with monthly usage between 1 MAR and 1M MAR. Connections on the Free plan are exempt.

Transformations are charged per successful model run; failed runs are not counted. List rates are $0.00 for up to 5,000 runs a month, $0.01 up to 30,000, $0.007 up to 100,000 and $0.002 above that.

Activations are priced on MAR, with a separate cost curve per activation, so the cost per MAR falls as volume rises. The Free plan allows 3,500 MAR a month for activations.

Annual contracts carry discounts that start at 5% and reach up to 22%, depending on list spend. Enterprise licence agreements are offered at a fixed yearly price with no consumption limits.

How much does Fivetran cost?
Fivetran does not publish a fixed subscription price. The Free plan costs nothing within its limits. Standard is usage-based: monthly usage in MAR multiplied by a spend rate that falls as volume grows, plus a $5 base charge per connection with up to 1M MAR. Enterprise and Business Critical prices are not published.
How does Fivetran charge?
Connections are charged on monthly active rows (MAR): inserts and updates, including deletes. Unchanged re-synced rows and initial syncs are not counted. Activations are also priced on MAR, and transformations per successful model run. Billing can be monthly or annual, and annual contracts receive discounts.
