Price depends on the family and generation. Dedicated CPU G6 4 GB is $36 per month and G7 4 GB is $43, while the newer G8 plans list hourly rates only and include no transfer. Prices may vary by region.

Plans include a monthly transfer allowance, from 1 TB on Nanode 1 GB to 20 TB on larger Shared CPU plans. Overage is $0.005 per GB. G8 and GPU plans include no bundled transfer, so all egress is charged.

Akamai Cloud compute starts at $5 per month for Shared CPU (Nanode 1 GB), $36 per month for Dedicated CPU (G6 Dedicated 4 GB) and $60 per month for High Memory (Linode 24 GB). GPU plans are billed hourly from $0.52 per hour. Akamai CDN and security products have no published price and are quoted by the sales team.
How does Akamai charge?
Compute plans have an hourly rate and, for most families, a monthly price. The FAQ example bills a 1 GB instance for 24 hours at $0.0075 per hour, which is $0.18. Transfer beyond the plan allowance is $0.005 per GB, and add-ons such as backups, NodeBalancers and storage are charged separately.
